I started volunteering with Mission Mid-Del 20 years ago and enjoyed doing it. It was fun and I felt just a joy when I helped an individual. Well life got in the way with children and work so I had to quit. However I always said when "I retire, I would like to go back to volunteering."

Well one year ago I did "retire" and started two weeks later volunteering at "Master's Market." I always felt the Lord leading me there and I know that is where I am to be. I work in the clothing area mainly; however you catch me doing other areas when needed. I and other volunteers sort through clothing and other items that are donated distribute them and hang clothing. I also help on the days we are open with escorting clients through that clothing department.

I can't explain the joy and satisfaction that I receive, it has to be a fulfillment of what God has intended for me to do all these years. Time after time I have seen God answer a need. When someone needs a particular item and I don't think we have it, I turn to look and there it is and I know it wasn't there before. When I give someone an item that we only have one and I know others will need it. I will go to the "drop-off" area and open a sack and there are two or more of that item. Every time I am amazed what God does. If you would like to experience this JOY and WONDERMENT of God, I suggest you volunteer at Master's Market.
